PIERRE ZREIK, President
Board member since 2015
Pierre is a noted hotelier who presently serves as Managing Director of the Allison Inn and Spa in Newberg. When asked in a 2016 interview to recommend the best non-touristy activity in the area, Pierre said, “Visit our Cultural Center. They have varying art displays, events for kids and a wide selection of arts and crafts classes.” As a Board Member, Pierre's passions are to serve on the cultural committee and to foster the continued growth and vision of the organization.
David Harrelson, SECRETARY
Board member since 2017
David Harrelson is an enrolled member of The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. He is Kalapuya and serves as the Cultural Resources Department Manager and Tribal Historic Preservation Officer for his Tribe. David directs development of the Tribe's Museum and Cultural Center as well as cultural education, interpretation, and cultural resource operations. David's vision for the Cultural Center is that it will provide facilities and programs that spark engagement, ensure accessibility, and create a sense of unity and belonging among many.

Mary martin miller, TREASURER
Board member since 2013
Mary is Principal Broker and Owner of Miller Consulting Group, LLC, a commercial and investment real estate office in Yamhill County. Mary’s passion is music appreciation; thanks to her mother’s influence, she was exposed to opera and many other music genres. Mary was an early, local proponent of the Chehalem Cultural Center and helped develop the Newberg Harvest Festival prior to the Center’s renovation.

Cathy Redman, PAST president
Board member since 2014
Following Cathy's 20-year career in banking, she and her late husband founded Redman Wines in 2003. Today she farms 30 acres of vineyard and produces Arneis, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Enjoying art in a variety of mediums, Cathy's passion for the Cultural Center is focused on arts-related education for both children and adults. She is eager for the Center to continue its growth and service to the wine industry, the community, and the state of Oregon.

A three-decade veteran educator, Mark is the Chair of the Department of Art & Design at George Fox University where he teaches Art History, Ceramics, Sculpture, and Senior Thesis courses to undergraduates. His own work is widely exhibited and can be found in a number of collections and galleries.

ALLYN BROWN
Board member since 2017
Allyn founded the Newberg law firm of Brown, Tarlow, Bridges & Palmer PC in 1970 and served the Chehalem Park and Recreation District as a client since 1982. He was part of the team who oversaw CPRD's purchase of the Cultural Center building from the Newberg School District. Having had a life-long interest in pottery, Allyn is passionate about the Cultural Center's Ceramics Studio and has frequented the facility since his retirement from law practice in 2015.
DeB CLAGETT
Board member since 2012
Deb is a vineyard owner, educated in architectural design. She owned a Seattle commercial design firm for 24 years, specializing in healthcare, education, fire stations and resorts. Deb served as president of the Seattle Symphony Associates during construction of Benaroya Hall. Her involvement with the Cultural Center was inspired by the dedication, determination, and passion of the board, staff, & volunteers. Deb generously shares her background in design, experience in fundraising, and love of art to help the CCC achieve its goals.
STAN HALLE
Board member since 2014
Stan has worked in change management, strategic planning, and organizational effectiveness over 36 years. He was a founding partner and Managing Director of Heifetz Halle Consulting Group from 1987-2015 serving government, military, commercial, and private clients. Stan also held positions at Bear Stearns & Co Inc., Arthur D. Little, Inc., Cresap, McCormick & Paget; the City of New York, and NASA. His priority as a member of the Cultural Center Board is to help bring the organization's vision to fruition - especially in the performing arts.

Kris Horn
Board member since 2009
Kris is a Real Estate Principal Broker, Artist, and Community Activist. Living in close proximity to the Cultural Center, her dream for its development began when CPRD purchased the property from the school district. She served with the original group of visionary arts advocates who set the former Central School on its path to becoming a thriving Cultural Center. Kris knows that her passion for the ongoing project will keep her engaged until the building is fully renovated and accessible to everyone in the region.
RICK LEE
Board member since 2008
Rick's career in banking spanned 35 years, 26 of which he spent with Bank of America. His involvement with the Cultural Center has focused on facility development; over the years he has been instrumental in helping the organization to fully realize the potential of the building's unfinished spaces. Visitors who tour the Cultural Center with Rick marvel at both his vast knowledge of the facility's history and his enthusiasm for the organization's future.
DENNIS LEWIS
Board member since 2009
Dennis is the President of Lewis Audio Video, Inc. in Newberg. He was part of the early Cultural Center organizational team and is an original board member. Dennis's continuing vision for the Center is to ensure that it will provide the entire community with a place to gather and enjoy theater, arts, and cultural activities.

BARBARA PALMER
Board member since 2010
Barb is currently the Regional Manager of First Republic Bank in Portland; her banking industry career includes over 40 years with Bank of America and U.S. Trust. A Newberg resident, Barb appreciates the community's strong business and arts cultures and believes that collaboration between them can enrich lives and build strong and attractive places for people to live and work. Barb truly enjoys raising awareness of an organization which serves such a diverse cross-section of the community.
Mike Ragsdale
Board member since 2010
Mike has been involved in community building for many years as an elected official and community volunteer. He represented Washington County as State Representative and State Senator and was the presiding officer of METRO. Currently Mike is a member of the CPRD Board of Directors as well as Executive Director of the Newberg Downtown Coalition.

Deborah Stevenson
Board member since 2012
Deb is a wife, mother, grandmother, business owner, horsewoman, traveler, and volunteer fundraiser who believes art in all its forms makes a difference in the lives of every human being. After co-chairing the first Night of the Moon gala in 2011, Deb joined the CCC Board of Directors and continued serving as co-chair of the annual fundraiser for six more years. She was especially drawn to the many creative opportunities CCC offers to all ages and is personally committed to assisting with the renovation yet to be completed, especially the theater and commercial kitchen.
