DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT: PART TIME

The Chehalem Cultural Center is looking for a 20-30 hour/week Development Assistant to join our small, passionate team. The Center’s small staff pulls off a big job, and each team member is relied upon to be a leader and champion. All staff members at the Chehalem Cultural Center are expected to be creative thinkers and independent problem solvers who find joy in promoting arts & culture and are energetic in community engagement. The Development Assistant reports directly to the Executive Director providing administrative support in the planning, coordination, and execution of the Center’s donor stewardship efforts.

GUITAR SPECIALIST: CONTRACT

The Chehalem Cultural Center is looking for a part-time Guitar Specialist to join our after-school Youth Mariachi team. This is a contracted position. Three days per week, approximately twelve 3rd – 5th grade students come to learn the traditional instruments of mariachi music, including guitarrone, vihuela, trumpet, violin, guitar, and voice. The Youth Mariachi Program adheres to the academic calendar of the Newberg School District (NSD), and aligns all holidays, school breaks and snow days with that of the NSD.
