The Bridges+ Project
A Willamette Tapestry Artists Exhibition
November 11, 2025 - January 8, 2026
**Extended to January 29**
Central Gallery

The Willamette Tapestry Artists project represents physical bridges and structures of architectural and cultural interest. The original project included bridges over the Willamette River, many of which are iconic landmarks around the metropolitan area and the “+” expands the works included to acknowledge some of the other buildings and bridges in Oregon. These tapestries vary in the techniques used and reflect the artist’s personal and artistic interpretation of the bridges.
Recent Works
An Exhibit with Nicole Williford
January 13 - May 7
Loft Gallery
Public Artist Reception: Friday, January 23 | 5pm-7pm
In "Recent Works", Williford continues her exploration of suburban americana. These works coalesce 5 years of Williford's artistic studies of American photo archives - her own families and those of strangers. Domestic scenes, filtered and cropped through her personal lens, explore themes of nostalgia and the myth-making of family life - stories and photos passed down between generations, details forgotten and re-imagined. This collection features drawings, paintings and printmaking - all of which dance between realism and abstraction. Figures appear and then blur at the edges, fading into memory and imagination. While these works are distinctly connected to Williford’s personal family history they also leave room for viewers to recall their own family life and memories.

Useful Thing brings together a body of sculpture and photography that reflects on tools, utility, and the spirit we feel in the objects of labor. Rooted in the artist’s year-long residency with A to Z Wineworks and REX HILL winery, these new works draw from the sensory world of winemaking, its materials, forms and craftspeople, to consider how we are shaped by the environments we build and inhabit.
