Spring Floral Block Printing Workshop

 In this three hour class we will make, from start to finish, floral block prints. There will be a variety of fresh flowers to inspire our artwork.

 Book Binding Workshop: Make Your Own Sketchbook or Journal 

Get hands-on experience in traditional bookbinding materials and techniques, specifically focusing on the creation of a hardcover sketch book or journal with the French link stitch. Students will learn the basics of bookbinding while honing their skills in stitching, covering, and finishing, creating a beautiful, functional hardcover book to take home.

Adult Beginning Drawing: Nature - On Hiatus for the Spring!

We’ll cover simple anatomy, forms, and texture while drawing from life, photos, and video. Practice drawing a variety of plants, animals, and even minerals!


Gouache Landscapes Class (Beg/Int)

A new gouache class which is focussed on landscape painting. One spectacular thing about Oregon is how much variety there is in natural beauty - mountains, rivers, lakes, forests and more!

Introduction to Relief Printmaking

Create your own relief prints and learn about different block carving techniques and composition. Perfect for someone who is interested in trying out this medium for the first time!

Drawing Portraiture (Ages 14-17 welcome to enroll)

Develop your own sophisticated approach to drawing portraits! Study the foundational concepts of proportion, rhythm, to develop your own portrait drawing style and learn different approaches for incorporating them in a drawing, rendering, or painting process.

Comic Creation Class for Adults  (Ages 14-17 welcome to enroll)

Study the creation of a comic from the ground up! From writing the story, to choosing a style, producing layouts, pencils, final inks, and lettering, this class will cover everything needed for creating black and white comics.

Figure Drawing (Ages 18+)

Join us for studio sessions providing beginner and advanced artists an opportunity to draw the human figure. Each session will have the model in varying poses and will be self-directed with an instructor present for specific help, guidelines, and examples.

Botanical Facial Oils Workshop- One Day Workshop

Join Heather Ciprani of Flower & Bone Supply Skincare for a “make-your-own botanical face oil bar” at the Chehalem Cultural Center. This workshop will start with an introduction to facial oils, their skincare benefits, and how to use them. We'll talk about common skincare concerns, like acne, anti-aging or dryness, and then move into a hands-on session where you'll be able create your own custom formula.

Monday April 14 | 6pm-7:30pm | $65, all materials provided.

At the end of the workshop, you'll receive a 30 mL bottle of your formulation & recipe card to take home so you can recreate!

Meditation Mondays with Just This… Mindfulness (Ages 21+) — Join us weekly!

Mondays, 6pm-6:45PM | March 31st- April 28th Sessions Available Here

Start your week with a guided meditation session that will leave you centered, grounded, and ready to approach life with intention! Each week students will experience a 30-45-minute mindfulness session. Certified mindfulness instructor Annie Shull will guide students through a grounding seated meditation, gentle yoga-based movement, and explore cultivation and body scan practices.

Ceramics: Decal & Cyanotype Workshop

Are you looking to explore imagery on ceramics? Join us for a 3 hour decal and cyanotype workshop. This amazing experience will have you explore the techniques of cyanotype and image printed decals and how these two techniques interact with clay.
