2025 Yamhill Artist Showcase Application
Eligibility:
This opportunity is open to all Yamhill County-based artists, 18 years or older. Students from 1st-12th grade are encouraged to apply for our Yamhill Student Showcase. All mediums and sizes will be considered. Artists at any point in their careers are encouraged to apply.
DATES:
Application Opens: February 5th, 2025
Application Deadline: April 1st, 2025
Selection Announcement: April 14th, 2025
Artwork Drop off dates: April 30th-May 2nd, 2025
Exhibition Dates: May 6th- June 26th, 2025
Artwork Pickup: June 27th, 2025
Artist Reception and Award Announcements: June 6th, 2027, 5-7pm in the Parrish
Gallery, 415 E. Sheridan St. Newberg OR 97213
Details:
● $30 fee to submit
● Artists must be 18 years of age or older
● Applicants must currently live in Yamhill County to be considered
● Artists can submit up to three pieces of artwork
● All artworks must be original works made by the artist
● All mediums, sizes and styles of artwork are welcome
● All pieces will be juried based on originality, quality/craftsmanship
● Selected artworks will be exhibited in the Parrish Gallery for a two-month period (May-June)
● Selected works must be for sale and realistically priced
● The CCC will take a 40% commission from all sales
● A W-9 form will be required upon acceptance into the show
● Application fee is non-refundable, regardless of acceptance into the show
● Diptychs, Triptychs and Polyptychs are considered a single entry
● Jewelry sets are considered a single entry
● Images must be in a JPEG or PNG format and should be titled accordingly: First_Last-shortened title-0x0x0in.
● 3D artworks may submit up to three additional images of different views for each artwork. Please group 3D views in the image title with A, B, C indicators.
● Works on paper must be framed, and all 2D work must be wired, and ready to hang. Other wall-hung artwork should be wired if possible.
Awards:
Ribbons and Cash prizes will be awarded. 3 works will be selected as “Best in Show,” and 8 honorable mentions.
