The OPA exhibition at the Chehalem Cultural Center is cancelled. The volume of artist response to our open call is not of the level we feel necessary to put on a show that celebrates our ceramics community in the way we intend. Cancelling a show is a difficult decision and one we do not take lightly; it is our hope that with some further development we may launch this show again in the future.

For those who have signed up, we thank you for your interest in participation and invite you to reapply again in the future. Your registration fee will be fully refunded. If you have questions or concerns please contact me directly at galleries@chehalemculturalcenter.org and I will be happy to talk in more depth.

For all, we wish you a lovely summer, and the CCC looks forward to ongoing partnership with OPA.

We’re excited to partner with the Oregon Potter Association (OPA) for a juried ceramic show —"Artists Have Voice."

We, as artists, use our work to speak about our emotions, interests, and experiences. This exhibition asks you to consider: Who or what influences your work? What do you want your work to express? How does your voice, your artist's voice, connect with the viewer?

Ceramic artists are encouraged to submit up to three pieces representing and embody the artistic behavior 'Artists Have Voice."

2024 Judge: Peter Callas
