Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course w/ Annie Shull

October 30th-December 18th (In addition to the weekly gathering: A day-long, mindful retreat is offered as a part of this course on Saturday December 9th, 9am-4pm)

Take a deeper dive into an 8-week MBSR course taught by Certified Mindfulness Instructor Annie Shull. The course focuses on an introduction to Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, pioneered by Jon Kabat-Zinn. Great for those suffering from anxiety, chronic pain, high stress, or simply interested in deepening their existing meditation practice. Learn more about Annie Shull’s teachings here.

Body Scan, Awareness of Breath, Gentle Mindful Movement, Mindful Walking, and Cultivation of Loving Kindness modalities are taught in a gradual modular fashion. Graduates of the series often report that it is easier to cultivate a more consistent home practice. They also notice themselves responding more constructively to stress, anxiety, chronic pain and depression as they practice how to show up more fully for each moment of their lives.

About The Instructor: 

Annie Shull, Certified Mindfulness Instructor

Endurance running and an impending surgery led Annie to explore mindfulness meditation. After self-study for 12 years, Annie launched into teacher training in 2017 with the goal of bringing mindfulness to others. She is a certified Mindfulness Meditation Instructor, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher-in-Training. After two decades of curriculum development and marketing experience in the tech sector and wine industry, Annie combines her passion for teaching and zeal for shining the light on the relief that can be found in the simplest of mindfulness practices, especially delighting in everyday mindfulness moments.

*Students could wear comfortable clothes to move in and bring a yoga mat with them if possible.

SUPPLIES/MATERIALS:  All written materials provided. Students could wear comfortable clothes to move in and bring a yoga mat with them if possible.
